Hazmat crew cleaning up chicken guts left by truck in Marshall

According to police, a truck filled with chicken guts spilled its load south from the intersection of Highway 59 and Highway 80.

MARSHALL, Texas — The Marshall Police Department is asking to drivers to steer clear from the intersection of Highway 59 and US Highway 80 as a hazmat crew cleans up a "less-than-appetizing trail of blood and gore."

According to police, a chicken gut truck spilled its load leaving a trail of guts south from the intersection of Highway 59 and Highway 80.

"We’re not clucking around when we say it’s a bit of a mess! For your own wheel’s sake (and your nose), please steer clear of the affected lane," the Facebook post read. "Drive safe, watch out for feathers, and maybe… keep your windows rolled up for this stretch. Thanks for your coop-eration!"
