HARRISON COUNTY, Texas — The Harrison County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a woman's ex-boyfriend was shot and killed after showing up to her house last week.
According to the HCSO, a woman called just after midnight on Thanksgiving (Nov. 23) saying her ex-boyfriend came to her residence on Milton Lane and he was shot.
Deputies found an unresponsive man, who was later identified as Anthony Diante Hampton, 28, of Tyler, in the front yard. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the sheriff's office said.
Investigators recovered video footage and other items at the scene. The shooting remains under investigation.
