GREGG COUNTY, Texas — A habitual offender was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Wednesday, according to the Gregg County Criminal District Attorney’s Office.
According to the district attorney’s office, a jury found Joshua Christian Camp guilty of theft.
The DA's office says Camp was accused of shoplifting from a Walmart and has multiple previous theft convictions.
Camp also had two prior state jail felony convictions which enhanced the current theft charge to a third degree felony.
After hearing punishment evidence the jury gave Camp the maximum sentenced of 10 years in prison.
