Gregg County Sheriff's Office searching for potentially dangerous suspect

GREGG COUNTY, Texas — The Gregg County Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect who fail to appear in court on family violence charges.

On Oct. 18, Marcus Raymond Bresler, 39, was scheduled to appear in court on charges for family violence. However, he failed to appear in court.

The sheriff's office says there is an active arrest warrant against Bresler. 

According to the sheriff's office, Bresler may be armed and has a history of violence.

Bresler has a lengthy rap sheet including convictions for assault and escape.

Anyone with any information on Bresler's whereabouts is urged to called the Gregg County Sheriff's Office at (903)236-8400 or Gregg County Crime Stoppers at (903)236-STOP.

People who do see Bresler are urged not to approach him and to call authorities immediately.
