TYLER, Texas — Green Acres Baptist Church is offering services to people affected by severe weather or who are without power.
From 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, the church has set up the free Disaster Relief Shower and Laundry trailer at their Student Center on 1505 Troup Hwy in Tyler. Residents who have been affected by widespread power outages can take a shower while they use the trailers to wash and dry a load of clothes.
The unit will also be open Thursday from 7 to 10 a.m. and from 3 to 6 p.m.
Green Acres Baptist Church also served lunch Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m., and plans to do so again Thursday.
