Gladewater ISD considering 4-day school week

According to the district, a survey was sent to GISD parents regarding the possible change.

GLADEWATER, Texas — Gladewater ISD says they are considering transitioning to a four-day school week.

According to the district, a survey was sent to GISD parents regarding the possible change.

"A survey was sent out by district communications," GISD said. "Let your voice be heard on the subject matter regarding a 4-day school week. If you have any questions they we may be able to answer, come and visit us. Any questions that can not be answered at that time will be noted and answered at a later time. Thank you for supporting your child’s education and the efforts of GISD."
