LONGVIEW, Texas — A Foster Middle School student has been placed into custody on Friday afternoon for accusations of making threats against students and staff in Longview.
Longview police received a call around 9:20 a.m. on Friday in response to a student threatening other students and faculty on campus at Longview ISD's Foster Middle School.
The student was apprehended by police after a school resource officer investigated the incident.
The student is currently in the Gregg County Juvenile Detention Center and has been charged with a terroristic threat, which is a third-degree felony.
