HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas — Payne Spring Fire Rescue crews were on the scene of a brush fire early Sunday morning in Henderson County.
According to fire officials, crew arrived around 3:46 a.m. on Sunday for reports of a vacant lot burning on Tom Hickman Lane.
Crews were able to extinguish the flames in a timely manner with no reported injuries.
Payne Springs Fire Rescue Chief 1 was in command and held the call to PSFR Brush 2 and Tanker 1.
