Family of man killed in parking lot assault sues On The Border restaurant

LONGVIEW, Texas — The family of a man who died as a result of an assault earlier this year in the parking lot of a Longview restaurant has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the business.

“Although no amount of compensation can replace what this family lost, we hope to set a precedent for restaurants everywhere,” said Tej Paranjpe of the Houston-based law firm of Paranjpe Mahadass Ruemke. “This was a horrific situation that could have been prevented if the responsible parties had done their duty to paying customers.”
