LINDALE, Texas — Hundreds pounded the pavement early Thanksgiving morning in Lindale.
Camp Gladiator organized the inaugural Lindale Turkey Trot 5K as a way to bring families together and raise money for the Lindale ISD Education Foundation.
Trainer Drew Smith said about 200 runners were expected, but the actual response was so overwhelming that bibs for hundreds more were being made on the morning of the race.
