TITUS COUNTY, Texas — A Titus County man has been arrested for allegedly setting another person's mobile home on fire.
According to the Titus County Sheriff's Office, on Wednesday, deputies responded to a structure fire in the 100 block of CR 1363. The fire destroyed a single-wide in that location.
The investigation led investigators to believe Landel Cathcart, 62, "intentionally or knowingly started the fire that consumed the mobile home which belonged to another person."
Cathcart was arrested for arson with an intent to destroy a habitation. He was booked into the Titus County Jail.
