MARSHALL, Texas — An East Texas man was arrested Wednesday following a fatal stabbing.
According to the Marshall Police Department, around 12:40 p.m., officers were called to the 2700 block of Norwood on reports of a stabbing.
When police arrived on scene, they say they learned Brian Griffin, 36, had stabbed a relative who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Griffin was arrested for murder and booked into the Harrison County Jail.
"This investigation is ongoing and further information will be released when it is appropriate.," the MPD said.
