NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, Texas — A East Texas man is behind bars after allegedly touching a child inappropriately on Sunday according to the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office.
According to the press release, Cedric Johnson, 48, of Garrison faces three second-degree felony charges for indecency with a child in a sexual manner.
The report was discovered when the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office received a complaint regarding Johnson making numerous sexual advances toward a young woman at his home on, "at least three separate occasions."
A search warrant was administered based on the information gathered from the victim, leading investigators to take Johnson into custody at his home without incident.
According to officials, Johnson is a registered sex offender and is required to register his entire life.
Johnson is currently in the Nacogdoches County Jail with $150,000 bonds for three charges.
