HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas — The East Texas Food Bank is excited to announce a new mobile food bank is opening in Henderson County this Friday.
According to the press release, the new mobile pantry will be open every second Friday of every month in Seven Points located in Henderson County.
The mobile food pantry will be open from 4 to 5 p.m. beginning Friday, March 8 and distribution will be held at 501 E. Cedar Creek Parkway in Seven Points.
“Henderson County has a great need for food assistance as almost 16% of the residents are food insecure according to the latest data from Feeding America’s Map the Meal Gap,” CEO of the East Texas Food Bank David Emerson said.
The drive-thru mobile pantry is open to everybody with no additional ID requirement.
