SHELBY COUNTY, Texas — An East Texas educator accused of having an improper relationship with a student was arrested Tuesday.
Sarah Elizabeth Ramon, 28, of Joaquin, turned herself into the Shelby County Jail on charges of indecency with a child, improper relationship with a student and sexual assault of a child, the Shelby County Sheriff's Office said.
According to the sheriff's office, Ramon's arrest comes after a lengthy investigation and she is currently awaiting arraignment.
The investigation remains ongoing.
