TYLER, Texas — Miranda Lambert is giving back to East Texas animal shelters through her charity, MuttNation.
According to the charity, several local shelters have been named "It Takes Balls" grant recipients, including:
- Athens Animal Rescue Shelter
- Cedar Creek Lake Friends of Animals, Inc.
- Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center
- City of Lufkin
- Friends of Jefferson Animals
- Humane Society of Harrison County
- SPCA of East Texas
Lambert says $130,000 in spay and neuter grants will be given to shelters across East Texas, North Texas and the Panhandle.
