TYLER, Texas — Police are searching for a driver that hit a patrol car in Tyler Monday afternoon.
According to the Tyler Police spokesperson Andy Erbaugh, a police officer's patrol car was hit by a driver on Highway 31 west and Loop 323.
Erbaugh said the driver was driving the wrong way when they hit the patrol car. The officer chased after the car but did not catch up with the driver.
The officer is okay and no other injuries were reported, police said.
At this moment, officials are searching for the driver involved in the crash.
