ANGELINA COUNTY, Texas — At least one person has been reported dead following a work zone crash in Angelina County on Tuesday afternoon.
The wreck occurred north of the Jasper County line on US 69 where rumble strips, barricades and a flagger was posted to direct traffic.
Work crews were present at the time of the crash and DPS is still investigating the cause, according to the press release.
"The TxDOT family would like to express its heartfelt sympathy to the family of those involved and to those who witnessed the crash," according to the press release.
