New downtown Longview steakhouse nears completion

Ardian said pretty much everything in the building is new, including the air conditioning system, plumbing and electricity — about 80 percent of the building is new.

LONGVIEW, Texas — It doesn't yet have a name, but Ardian Marevci said his family's new upscale steakhouse will be opening in a few months in downtown Longview.

Brothers Ardian and Alban Marevci own Roma's Italian Kitchen on Tyler Street. In 2023, they also purchased the former Master Travel building at Tyler and Center streets, next door to Roma's.

The building had significant structural damage at the time that they have worked with engineers and contractors to repair. Ardian Marevci said the foundation was repaired and new bricks were added to what had been a crumbling structure. Ardian said pretty much everything in the building is new, including the air conditioning system, plumbing and electricity — about 80 percent of the building is new.
