WHITE OAK, Texas — The city of White Oak will pause recycling collection until further notice following a structure fire at Rivers Recycling in Liberty City Wednesday evening.
"Due to the fire at the recycling plant, the city will be unable to take your recycling," a spokesperson for the city of White Oak posted on Facebook. "We have not been given a timeline for when it will be available again. We will keep you posted."
This is the fourth East Texas city to have their recycling services paused by the fire, alongside Tyler, Longview and Whitehouse whose services were also affected.
