CROCKETT, Texas — The Crockett Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in the homicide of an elderly man.
Herbert "Andy" Allen, 78, of Crockett, was found dead inside his home in the 800 block of Monroe Street on May 23. A family member found Allen deceased, according to the Crockett Police Department.
Investigators found suspicious circumstances at the scene and an autopsy was ordered. Preliminary autopsy results ruled his death as a homicide, according to police.
This investigation remains ongoing.
