Crews responding to reports of storm damage across East Texas

County Roads Rescue in Jacksonville is looking for emergency fosters after their buildings flooded Wednesday morning.

Crews are responding to multiple reports of storm damage across East Texas.

According to the Rusk County Office of Emergency Management, downed trees and power lines are being reported from Reklaw to Pine Hill, just south of Henderson. Farm-to-Market Road 840 is closed about two miles outside of Henderson due to downed trees. Farm-to-Market Road 3310 also has a tree blocking the roadway.

County Roads Rescue, an animal rescue in Jacksonville is flooding, according to the owners. They are currently in need of emergency fosters. If you are available to help, the rescue is located at 601 Woodlawn Avenue.

Residents in the Lake Striker area tell CBS19 downed trees are affecting travel.

A resident who lives on State Highway 204, near Reklaw, says their water shed is gone following the storms.

The United States Geological Survey is also keeping the public updated on recent rainfall totals around bodies of water across the Lone Star State.

Thousands of residents across East Texas are also without power.
