WINONA, Texas — No one was injured after a wood house burned down in Winona Friday morning.
According to Smith County Emergency Services District No. 2 spokesperson Nikki Simmons, the residence is located at 115 Johnson Street. Firefighters arrived to find the home completely engulfed in flames.
The home was ultimately destroyed because of the fire. Officials said no one was inside the home at the time of the fire. The blaze remains under investigation.
