LINDALE, Texas — A house fire on County Road 4185 in Lindale was controlled by crews on Thursday.
Officials from Smith County Emergency Services District 2 said a residential structure fire started at a house in Lindale. Crews from Smith County ESD#2 and the Lindale Fire Department were able to gain control of the fire quickly, a spokesperson from ESD#2 said.
Smith County ESD#2 dispatched Engine-122, Engine-128, and Battalion-2. Upon arrival of Battalion-2, the Battalion Chief declared it a working fire and assumed command, then attached Battalion-1, Engine-172, Tender-172, and Tender-136 to assist.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
