Community members gather for 90th Texas Rose Festival Ladies luncheon

The Rose Festival celebration kicks off at 9 a.m. on Saturday and the Queen's tea is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Rose Garden in Tyler.

TYLER, Texas — One of Tyler’s most well-known festivals is celebrating it's 90th year this Saturday.

The Texas Rose Festival is officially in full swing with the celebration of the men's and women’s luncheons that were held on Friday morning.

Hundreds gathered together to celebrate the Tyler community and Rose Festival representatives say they are excited for another year of great tradition.

"We are at the 90th Texas Rose Festival Ladies luncheon. We are excited about seeing all of these girls on stage and having the community come together. This is such a great event to bring in ladies from all over," Texas Rose Festival Representative Lynda Evans said.
