TYLER, Texas — The city of Tyler cut the red ribbon in honor of reopening Pollard Park which included several new renovations on Saturday.
Mayor Don Warren, along with other city officials, cut the red ribbon to commemorate the new renovations.
Some of the new renovations include:
- New basketball courts
- Renovated tennis court and dedicated pickleball courts
- New playground and inclusive playground features
- Sidewalk connections throughout the park
- New benches and picnic tables
- New fenced dog area
- Practice field and football field
- Renovated restrooms and new art mural
- Renovated parking lot
To visit the park individuals can head to 710 E. Amherst Dr., Tyler.
