RUSK, Texas — The city of Rusk has issued a boil water notice for some of its customers due to a water main break Wednesday.
According to the notice on the city's Facebook page, some residents will have to boil water before consuming it to protect them from potential harmful bacteria and other microbes. The notice is for people who are in the Highway 69 corridor from McDonald's south to Loop 343 including intersecting streets from east to west.
The city said those who did not pressure Wednesday morning do not need to boil their water.
