City of Nacogdoches rescinds boil water notice

The water is now safe to consume and there is no need to boil water.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas — The city of Nacogdoches has rescinded a boil water notice that was put into place because of two separate water main breaks.

These water main breaks caused a loss of water pressure and required residents to boil their water before consumption. The two affected areas are Bennett Clark on Rayburn Drive (FM 1275) to SE Stallings Drive (inside the loop) and John Richard on E. Starr Ave. to Glen Hollow Drive.

The water is now safe to consume and there is no need to boil water.
