LINDALE, Texas — The city of Lindale has rescinded the boil water notice on Friday afternoon for all residents after a contractor bore through a water mainline earlier in the week.
As of 4:13 p.m. on Friday, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality indicated the water no longer requires boiling following laboratory test results.
The city said a contractor bored through a water main and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the city of Lindale public water system to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption.
