KILGORE, Texas — Kilgore's Fourth of July Extravaganza that was set for Tuesday evening has been canceled after an accident involving the equipment carrying the fireworks.
According to the city of Kilgore, the city pool will continue to be free for the remainder Tuesday. The band and fireworks show will not happen this year.
"We apologize for the inconvenience and we ask that you keep all who were involved in your thoughts an prayers," the city of Kilgore Facebook said.
