City of Henderson to honor fire chief for 32 years of service

The city of Henderson and the Henderson Fire Department will celebrate him with a ceremony on Monday, Feb. 26.

HENDERSON, Texas — The city of Henderson will honor one of its longtime servants next week. 

Fire Chief Rusty Chote is set to retire after 32 years of service to his community. The city of Henderson and the Henderson Fire Department will celebrate him with a ceremony on Monday, Feb. 26 from 4 to 6 p.m. on the ground level of the Municipal Services Complex, located at 300 West Main Street in Henderson. 

A presentation and remarks will be held at 5:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
