LONGVIEW, Texas — Police are investigating after a child was found with multiple gunshot wounds at a Longview apartment complex Tuesday night.
According to the Longview Police Department, the child was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was found in a parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. The shooting happened at the Preserve Apartments, located at 600 West Avalon Ave., before 6:30 p.m.
The investigation remains active as detectives continue to gather information, police said.
