CHEROKEE COUNTY, Texas — The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office has identified a suspect after they "peacefully" ended a barricaded scene in the Moon City area on Wednesday.
According to Cherokee County Sheriff Brent Dickson, Mark Duran, 31, was taken into custody on the following charges:
- Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon
- Family violence
- Felon in possession of a firearm.
He remains in Cherokee county jail with no bond at this time.
