JACKSONVILLE, Texas — County Roads Rescue, a nonprofit animal shelter in the Jacksonville area, is seeking donations as they are in "desperate need of basic supplies."
In a Facebook post Wednesday, the rescue said workers used the last of its dog food that morning and the facility would greatly appreciate any donations.
Items the shelter needs currently and run through the quickest include: adult dog food, puppy food, cat litter, Odoban, paper towels and treats.
"We have two bags arriving today for adult food but it will only last a couple days," the post read.
County Roads Rescue asked people to either make a donation or check out its Amazon wish list. Monetary donations can be made through PayPal.me/countyroadsrescue or Venmo @Countyroadsrescue22.
The rescue is located at 601 Woodlawn Ave. in Jacksonville.
