Iron Chef Alex Guarnaschelli, Broadway musicals highlight UT Tyler Cowan Center's 2024-25 season

The performing arts center will present Broadway’s biggest hits, concerts, shows with magic and acrobatics, children’s programs and two distinguished lectures.

TYLER, Texas — The R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center at UT Tyler announced on Tuesday its lineup for the 2024-25 season that will feature Broadway musical performances as well as lectures from "CBS News Sunday Morning" anchor Jane Pauley and Chef Alex Guarnaschelli.

It's the 28th season for the performing arts center, located at 3900 University Boulevard – FAC 1120, that presents Broadway’s biggest hits, concerts, shows with magic and acrobatics, children’s programs and two distinguished lectures by television talents.

Pauley began her role at "CBS News Sunday Morning" in 2016. She first appeared as a guest on the show in 2014 in a "where are they show" segment. Pauley's career also includes working as an anchor on the "Today" Show and "Dateline NBC."

Guarnaschelli is the executive chef at New York City's Butter restaurant. She has appeared on "Iron Chef America," "The Kitchen" as a regular co-host and "Chopped" as a recurring judge. She also hosts her own primetime series "Supermarket Stakeout" on Food Network.

New subscribers can place an order starting Thursday, June 20 at 9 a.m. Cowan Center Circle members can purchase tickets to individual shows starting Aug. 19. Tickets for each show go on sale about four weeks before the event.
