CHAPEL HILL, Texas — Chapel Hill ISD is mourning the loss of one of its band students.
Diego Rodriguez, 16, passed away following a battle with leukemia early Thursday morning, the Chapel Hill Bulldog Band shared on Facebook.
He was a junior trombone player and was an "absolute pleasure" to have in the band hall.
"He had an infectious smile that I know all of us will remember," the post read.
The band asked people to get his family in their thoughts and prayers.
