TYLER, Texas — TEGNA and CBS19 on Friday announced it will air 10 Dallas Mavericks games this season, enabling East Texas fans to watch the games live through their free over-the-air broadcasts and through the station's broadcast distribution with cable, satellite, and streaming services.
Mark Followill, in his 19th season as the Mavericks play-by-play announcer, Mavericks legends Derek Harper and Devin Harris, along with Jeff “Skin” Wade and Lesley McCaslin will be on the call for these games, with pre- and postgame coverage from Dana Larson and Brian Dameris.

- Thurs., March 21 vs. Utah, 7:30 p.m. CT (airing on The CW East Texas)
- Fri., March 29 @ Sacramento, 9 p.m. CT (airing on The CW East Texas)
- Thurs., April 4 vs. Atlanta, 6:30 p.m. CT (airing on CBS19)
- Fr., April 5 vs. Golden State, 7:30 p.m. CT (airing on The CW East Texas)
- Tues., April 9 @ Charlotte, 6 p.m. CT (airing on CBS19)
- Wed., April10 @ Miami, 6:30 p.m. CT (airing on The CW East Texas)
- Fri., April 12 vs. Detroit, 7:30 p.m. CT (airing on The CW East Texas)
The NBA and Diamond Sports Group earlier reached agreement to allow teams to join with local broadcasters for a limited number of over-the-air games during the remainder of the regular season. The 10 games airing on TEGNA stations’ schedules will not be available on Bally Sports Southwest or the Bally Sports app. All other remaining Mavericks games this season will be aired and streamed by Bally Sports, and/or by the NBA’s national media partners, as previously scheduled.
How do I watch Dallas Mavericks games on CBS19?
1. Using an HD antenna.
The 10 games will be broadcast on CBS19 and The CW East Texas (Ch. 19.1 and 19.2) and available for free over the air using an HD antenna connected to your TV.
An HD antenna can be purchased via Amazon, Best Buy and other retailers. Once attached to your television, setting it up is a simple, three-step process.
