LONGVIEW — A person was taken to the hospital after a car crashed into a building and hit them while they were sitting on a bench just before 3 p.m. Wednesday on the 100 block of Tall Pines
When officers arrived to the scene, witnesses told them a person sitting outside was hit by a car when the driver of the car accidentally pushed the gas pedal instead of the brake.
The person sitting on the bench was taken to a Longview hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Officials are still investigating this accident.
