CampV celebrating four years of helping veterans in East Texas

Throughout their time in Tyler, they've been able to process over 16,000 individual appointments for veterans needing different services.

TYLER, Texas — Thursday marks a special birthday for an East Texas nonprofit organization who continues to serve over 400 veterans a month.

CampV is celebrating four years of service as they opened their doors back in 2019.

Offering a unique 20-acre campus with a network of plentiful resources, veterans are able to personally connect with advocates to create a personalized plan to access their needs.

Throughout their time in Tyler, they've been able to process over 16,000 individual appointments for veterans needing different services.

With the holidays around the corner, executive director of the nonprofit Travis Gladhill says everyday is Veteran's Day and he's glad he can relate to these individuals since he served for 22 years in the Air Force himself.

"Making sure they have a roof over their head and food in their stomach, and jobs to go to... this is what we're here for," Gladhill said.
