TRINITY COUNTY, Texas — A bus carrying Texas inmates has crashed in Trinity County.
According to Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace, a Texas Department of Criminal Justice bus carrying five inmates was in a wreck on Hwy. 287 at Brownlee Creek, northwest of Groveton.
No life-threatening injuries were reported and the inmates are being transferred to another jail facility until an additional TDCJ bus arrives.
Minor delays are expected.
