Rusk Rural Water Supply has issued a boil water notice for some customers.
According to water system officials, a main line leak has led to a boil water notice being implemented for those who live on the following roadways:
- FM 752 (not all residents; affected residents will receive a phone call)
- CR 1110
- CR 2303
- CR 2306
- CR 2310
- CR 2323
- CR 2324
- CR 2325
- CR 2403
- CR 2404
- CR 2405
All customers are asked to boil their water prior to consumption. Children, seniors and those with weakened immune systems are at a greater risk for exposure to harmful bacteria.
