ATHENS, Texas — An Athens man has been charged with murder in connection with the death of his estranged girlfriend.
Ashley Nicole Koonce, 27, of Athens, was found dead Saturday with multiple gun shot wounds in the front yard of a residence in the 1600 block of County Road 3722 in Athens. Koonce is a mother of three children, according to the Athens Police Department.
Her estranged boyfriend, Dameon Tarrel Williams, 29, turned himself to authorities and he was charged with Koonce’s murder.
