Athens man accused of exposing himself to child arrested

He was released from the Henderson County Jail on Saturday after posting a $15,000 bond.

ATHENS, Texas — An Athens man was arrested Friday for allegations of exposing himself to a child. 

Athens Police Department officers charged Norris James Robert, 57, with a third-degree felony of indecency with a child by exposure. The warrant was issued by City Judge Steve Green.

Robert was released from the Henderson County Jail on Saturday after posting a $15,000 bond.

If a person is found guilty of a third-degree felony, they could face two to 10 years in prison, according to the Texas Penal Code.
