TYLER, Texas — UT Health Tyler has postponed its tree-lighting ceremony due to network outages caused by a ransomware attacks.
According to UT Health Tyler, the ceremony was originally planned for Tuesday, Nov. 28.
"As work continues to fully restore access to our systems, we are committed to remaining focused on hospital operations and providing quality care for our patients and their families," UT Health East Texas said in a statement.
CBS19 will update this article with the rescheduled date of the tree lighting ceremony once it has been announced.
