TYLER, Texas — An AMBER alert that was issued Tuesday for a missing 11-month-old Tyler boy has been canceled after the child was turned over to Child Protective Services.
According to the Tyler Police Department, around 8:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Tarhondia Jackson went to the Department of Family and Protective Services office in Tyler and handed over the baby. He is now in the custody of CPS.
Jackson was arrested on a charge relating to a separate offense and was booked into the Smith County Jail.
