All-inclusive Miracle League ballfield in Tyler expected to open next summer

The Miracle League of Tyler has given over $1.16 million for the field and the city of Tyler is providing up to $500,000 from the Half-Cent Sales Tax fund.

TYLER, Texas — Construction for the Miracle League ballfield in Tyler to allow children and adults of all abilities to play sports is set to start this fall. 

 The project is a partnership between the city of Tyler and the Miracle League of Tyler. The all-inclusive field, which will be located at Faulkner Park, will have accessible bleachers, a concession stand, and restrooms to make sure everyone can participate. 

Construction should start this fall and be completed at the end of summer 2025. 

The Miracle League of Tyler has given over $1.16 million for the field and the city of Tyler is providing up to $500,000 from the Half-Cent Sales Tax fund. The Tyler City Council gave SCI Construction a $1,680,358 construction contract to complete the project.
