NACOGDOCHES, Texas — The AgriLife Extension Service is offering free car and booster seat inspections in Nacogdoches.
Starting Friday, parents can have experts inspect their children's car and booster seat to ensure their seats are the proper size and will keep their children safe. Inspections are being held at GETCAP Head Start on 1902 Old Tyler Rd. on Sep. 6 from noon to 2 p.m.
AgriLife asks that anyone interested bring their child and know their weight and height. According to AgriLife, a limited number of replacement car seats will be available.
The inspection is part of the #EndTheStreakTX campaign, which aims to reduce the number of daily deaths on Texas Roadways, as well as the Sav a Life campaign from the Texas Department of Transportation.
