MARSHALL, Texas — Unbeknownst to most East Texans, Santa Claus has been living in Marshall for years.
In fact, he’s been around this area and Louisiana for most of his life.
After graduating from a four-day Santa University program, he worked for several years at malls in Longview and Shreveport, listening to children’s stories and Christmas wish lists. He even has a business card that looks like a Texas driver’s license. It states that he’s a toy donor, is restricted to driving reindeer and was born Dec. 25 A.D.
