MARSHALL, Texas — A Lousiana man has been arrested in Marshall after deputies say they seized nearly 100 pounds of marijuana from his car.
According to the Harrison County Sheriff's Office, deputies conducted a traffic stop Monday on HWY 59 in Marshall. Deputies say probable cause was determined to search the vehicle, where they found 93 pounds of marijuana, 10 grams of cocaine, and a Lortab pill.
The driver, Eric Duong, of Louisiana, was arrested and jailed for possession of marijuana between 50 and 2000 pounds, possession of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams, and possession of a controlled substance less than 28 grams.
