4 arrested after drive-by shooting in Marshall

A search of the home on Twyman Street led to the discovery of multiple guns, significant quantities of cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana and other related evidence.

MARSHALL, Texas — Four people were arrested following an early Thursday morning drive-by shooting in Marshall.

According to the Marshall Police Department, officers responded to a call about shots fired around Lions Park along with a woman's home in the 1000 block of Calloway Street getting struck by gunfire just before 3 a.m. No one was injured inside the home. 

Further investigation led officers to a home in the 1000 block of Twyman Street, where four people came out of the house voluntarily. A search of the home on Twyman Street led to the discovery of multiple guns, significant quantities of cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana and other related evidence.

The following people were arrested after the investigation:

  • Gerrold Maze, 49, of Marshall, charged with theft of a firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and two counts of possession of controlled substance
  • Kisha Carlisle, 26, of Marshall, charged with theft of a firearm and two counts of possession of controlled substance
  • Rmund Hall, 19, of Marshall, charged with theft of a firearm and two counts of possession of controlled substance
  • A 17-year-old charged with theft of a firearm and two counts of possession of controlled substance
